Duties * You will perform engineering technician duties to include assisting in maintaining product quality and implementing continuous process improvements. * You will work with engineers and technicians on the resolution of problems associated with product quality as well as the design and adaption of process equipment. * You will review test results performed by others to optimize processing. * You will assist with material inspections during the manufacturing process. * You will maintain current knowledge and assist employees on procedures, policies, and directives. Qualifications FOR THE NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-02 (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications to perform technical engineering work (e.g., design; quality; or adaptation of production systems and equipment) in support of manufacturing energetic chemicals, materials or related systems.
