Anywhere Skiltrek is hiring a Java Developer to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position is onsite 3 days/week in Milwaukee, WI!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies
- Been part of the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Worked within an Agile environment
- Put Software and Product Security top of mind
- Ability to scale products at a larger scale
- Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of enterprise Java development, Spring Boot, and Microservices experience
- Experience with Cassandra
- Application security experience including encryption and making sure code meets security standards
- REST/SOAP API experience
- 5+ years with Kubernetes and Docker containers
Desired Skills:
- Experience in integrating distributed applications.
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Location: Hybrid (3 days/week) in Milwaukee, WI
