The Principal Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer is responsible for the Architecture design, engineering, and operation of (DLP) systems. Creating and managing policies to ensure compliant data handling of sensitive information. Analysis and testing of DLP policies and associated incidents. This is a hands-on technical job. Looking for an experienced candidate with extensive experience creating and tuning Data Loss Prevention policies, administering Linux and Windows servers, and database integration using the following technologies: Enterprise, Microsoft Security and Compliance, Microsoft Servers, Linux ServersKey Roles and Responsibilities:Engineering, deployment, operations of on-premises and cloud based DLP solutions Integration of DLP platforms with other security, data base, and workflow solutions via PowerShell, Python, PHP, BASH, JavaScript, and SQLPerforming hands-on DLP deployment, configuration, policy, and maintenanceEngineers, deploys, configures, and maintains Windows Server and Linux ServersDevelops advanced reports to meet requirements of key stakeholders.Develops automation for security tools management and workflow integrationCollaborates with key stakeholders within Information Security and Engineering teams to develop specific use cases to address specific business requirementsAids in gathering, presenting metrics for measuring performance and riskProvides ongoing support to existing monitoring capabilities and data collection systemsLeads troubleshooting efforts in complex issues involving multiple platformsQualifications:Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience Requires 8-10 years’ experience in engineering enterprise DLP solutions in a large organizationExperienced in architecting and deploying Forcepoint DLP (data loss prevention) technologies (endpoint, cloud and network based)Expertise in development with web and programming languages including PowerShell, python, PHP, BASH, JavaScript, and SQLEngineering, administrative experience of Windows Server and Linux platformsExpertise in Cybersecurity, Data Protection operations and processesCISSP, CISM or advanced relevant industry certification preferredFamiliarity with reviewing and analyzing DLP policies and eventsRequires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) at the listed location.#LI-Onsite – Full-time office roleOur Principal Cybersecurity earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00.
