Broadridge is hiring a Database Administrator Manager to join the Database Engineering team.
You will develop long-term strategies and database technology roadmaps in this role to accomplish organizationally, customer, and business objectives. You are assisting in formulating a vision for the database team; implementing the team’s strategy to provide excellence in service quality, accelerate service delivery, and reduce the cost and complexity of the database environments. You will communicate the strategy to the team and ensure that the team is aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
To succeed in this role, you need to be well versed in Oracle database technologies and be able to guide and lead the team. You will also be responsible for effectively leading the team’s workflow for projects, changes, and incident resolution.
This role manages a team of 16 resources. You are responsible for performance management, staff development, staffing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and other personnel decisions affecting the database team. You will also be responsible for the team delivering accurate and on-time database solutions.
This is a client-focused role, where you must ensure the team aligns with client-centric. You will provide oversight of the delivery of database services to all lines of Broadridge businesses and possess broad functional, company, customer, and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
8+ years of technical experience in Oracle Administrator and 5+ years of leadership experience.

8+ years of experiences in Linux, Unix, Windows.

8+ years of experiences in scripting languages like Shell, PowerShell, Python.

Demonstrated success developing and implementing organizational strategies, database-related goals, standards, and policies that are in alignment with company goals

Lead the coordination and prioritization of complex projects and act as a functional liaison between multiple clients, development, infrastructure, and multifaceted business units.

Lead multiple database-related various across multifaceted lines of business.

Oversee the delivery of database service activities.

Possess a broad functional, company, customer, and industry knowledge.

Establish and evaluate the overall cost of database related solutions, products, and services.
