Title: IBM Infosphere Datastage Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+Months

Job Description:

This will be responsible for analyzing existing DataStage jobs & Shell scripts, create enhancements, create new jobs & shell scripts, migrate and test during version upgrades. Analysis, development and testing of Control-M workflow schedules. Communicate within and across various external teams.

Requirements:

Experience in integration technologies (IBM infosphere DataStage and Quality Stage)
Experience in Unix Shell scripting.
Experience in SQL, DB2 (LUW & Zos) and Teradata.
Experience in Scheduling tools (Control M, Zena).
Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (UrbanCode, jenkins, Jira, ServiceNow).
Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development.
Problem solving / analytical thinking.
Teamwork and collaboration.
Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Product-specific application architecture.
Ability to tie together solutions across systems.
