Anywhere Cybersecurity Engineer – Electronic Warfare (Havre de Grace) Cybersecurity Engineer
LufCo is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the operational security posture of an Army Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) solution. The Cybersecurity Engineer will follow and employ Risk Management Framework (RMF) principles and policies to meet DoD / Army Cybersecurity and information assurance regulations for Impact Level 5 and 6 environments.
Location: Havre de Grace, MD; APG, MD; & Remote
The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements
Performs technical and non-technical evaluation of people and operations, risk, and vulnerability assessments of relevant technology focus areas
Prepares audit reports that identify technical and procedural findings and provides recommended remediation strategies/solutions
Conducts vulnerability scans and recognizes vulnerabilities in security systems
Conducts application vulnerability assessments
Conducts and/or supports authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to provide guidance, direction, and technical assistance to customers
What you’ll need: A Top Secret level Clearance is required
B.S. degree in Computer Science or other related field is required
Three (3) years of experience in DoD Risk Management Framework
DoD 8570.01 Cybersecurity/Information Technology Certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire date required
Five (5) years of experience with Agile development is required
