Chatbot Developer/Engineer

Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

Our client has developed what they’re calling an AI multichannel first response chatbot that enables enterprise teams to accelerate their first conversations with leads in their pipeline. Their largest enterprise customers, such as T-Mobile and DIRECTV, have requested more chatbot functionality to book meetings on their behalf, send price quotes, answer product FAQ, and handle common objections using human-in-the-loop systems, powered by AI.

They are currently looking to bring on a Founding Chatbot Engineer/Developer to their team, based in Austin, TX. You will develop applications that automate communication between companies and their leads. You will create software applications that use artificial intelligence and machine learning to communicate with leads.

They are freshly seed-funded with 3 years of funding and will offer a base salary in addition to equity in the company and great growth potential.

As the Founding Chatbot Engineer/Developer, you will:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and service chatbots
Develop chatbot applications using AI, NLP, and Cognitive Machine Learning
Maintain and improve the chatbot platform to deal with different situations
Integrate chatbots with a variety of platforms
Use advanced tech to improve the chatbot’s user effectiveness
Participate in all stages of chatbot development, from design to implementation
Monitor performance on a regular basis, document progress, and develop improvement strategies
Organize and analyze data from chatbot conversations
Recognize, analyze, and interpret patterns, trends, and conversational flow in large data sets
Create and implement processes and strategies to improve end-user experience

As the Founding Chatbot Engineer/Developer, your background should include:
1-2+ years working with various AI and chatbot technologies
Strong experience with NLP and Machine Learning
Experience using technologies such as Huggingface, Open AI, Llama2 (any platform like this is acceptable)
Experience building chatbots for sales teams
Startup experience is a plus, but not required

This role will be a hybrid set-up, with two days in the office and three days remote in the Austin area.
