Anywhere Cybersecurity Analyst
Contract Length: 3 Months with strong possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $70/hr – $90/hr
Location: Mon – Thurs onsite in Kirkland, WA
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team for a 3+ month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in addressing longstanding cybersecurity challenges within their organization. This position requires a deep understanding of both IT and cybersecurity principles, with a focus on hands-on remediation of technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Identify and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Develop and maintain incident response plans.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Provide expertise and guidance on security best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security and cybersecurity.
Proficiency in configuration management tools and techniques.
Experience with least privileged user access and server versioning.
Strong knowledge of security technologies such as endpoint protection and encryption.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
