Description:

The Alumni Relations, Growth & Database Specialist will assist the Alumni Director & Chief Development Officer (CDO) with connecting, engaging, and enriching the relationship between CFNI and our alumni by creating ways for connection, networking, partnership, and engagement in order to increase our database and connection with all of our CFNI alumni to increase enrollment & support.

Qualifications:

Ability to understand the needs and interests of Alumni in order to develop relationships between them and Christ For The Nations

Full knowledge and understanding of the history of CFNI and its daily operations & culture.

Proficiency in the English language

Excellent & professional verbal and written communication skills

Excellent & professional interpersonal skills

Demonstrates fluency and clarity in communication

Ability to collaborate with other departments and teams

Organization and planning skills

Possesses strong time management skills

Goal oriented

Willingness and ability to travel

Willing to participate in prayer sessions

Duties and Responsibilities

Focus on building new, strengthening current, and maintaining all relationships with alumni around the world through:

Ensure the efficacy of the processes that have been established to collect and update contact information of current students

Maintain the continual updating of Alumni records and contact information in all avenues (events/gatherings, meetings, calls, etc)

Work with Finance to create & manage an Alumni budget

Generate new ways to facilitate the raising of funds for the Alumni department

Create processes to support the accuracy of the Alumni database

Create and undertake a strategy to recruit new Alumni Association Members from past and new alumni

Strengthen the promotion of the different Alumni tools and benefits available to them

Foster alumni engagement and communication by examples of the following:

Collect Alumni praise reports

Collect Alumni stories

Collect Alumni monumental moments

Distribution of the Lindsay Family Christmas Cards to the Alumni at the end of every year.

Daily and weekly engagement on targeted Alumni social media platforms

Oversight of the Alumni Association website; maintain relevancy keeping it current

Manage the social media platforms for the alumni department which includes but not limited to creating the schedule, content, oversight of posts and engagement, etc

Collaborate with creating and/or drafting content for Alumni section in The Voice, and digital means, when requested

Participation in the WIG initiative on behalf of the Alumni Department

Assist the Alumni Director & CDO in special events, meetings, and trips when requested by Alumni Director and CDO to represent Christ for the Nations

Assist the Alumni Director and CDO with organizing, managing and executing the direction, and coordination of all current and future Alumni events including the following but not limited to:

Annual Alumni World Changer Award

Graduate Reception

Alumni Reunions/Gatherings

Collaborate with other CFN departments to develop strategies, goals and objectives for alumni department participation

Determine what other departmental events both on and off campus that the Alumni department should collaborate with in order to have a presence in; assist with coordinating & executing of the events including but not limited to: Commencement, Encounter, CFN Network Ordination & other events such as the Pastors Brunch, Recruitment events, Student Life events, YFN, Graduation Breakfast, etc.

Oversight of all Alumni initiatives

Oversight of Alumni scholarship students

Manage time appropriately to meet deadlines

Weekly and monthly reporting of current initiatives and goals required
