Job Summary We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and proactive Cybersecurity Strategic Advisor to work on client site in Arlington, VA to provide input for content and subject matter expertise for a program responsible for ensuring critical infrastructure protection and resilience.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic cybersecurity expertise support across the division
• Partner with cyber planning and communications teams and stakeholders to help develop cybersecurity content and campaign strategies
• Identify areas of improvement across the organization, including cyber planning, communications, and operations
• Identify emerging risks and trends which may impact and drive communications planning and response
• Focus on strategic organization planning and facilitation
• Identify emerging risks and trends which may impact and drive strategic planning and response
• Develop workplans for technical approaches and conduct intake meetings to gather requirements
• Provide applicable content for internal and external stories, social and digital properties plans for print, broadcast and digital storytelling story development
• Advise public relations and external affairs teams on cyber impact and capabilities for planning and response strategies
• Advise teams on relevant and applicable content for internal and external messaging
• Advise teams on cyber impact and capabilities for planning and response strategies
• Provide subject matter expertise to a multidisciplinary team that includes Content Strategists, UX Designers, Writers, Editors, and Developers
Required Skills:
• Experience with cybersecurity related communications, planning, reports, digital content, and organizational planning
• Facilitation and presentation experience
• Knowledge of cybersecurity strategy and policy at a national level
Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting senior-level executives, preferably in high technology or science-based industries
• Experience working with Homeland Security (DHS)
• Experience providing advising on cybersecurity content development and delivery
• Experience providing cybersecurity content for wide-ranging media: digital, print, TV, radio, technology and scientific trade press and journals
Years of Related Experience: 2+ desired
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in business, communications, cybersecurity, information systems and security, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
TS/SCI Required
