Overview Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Program Manager to work as a member of an agile or hybrid-agile project management team to execute program management activities to ensure timely and quality delivery of contract requirements for task orders. Responsibilities include implementing a high-level strategy for the program, managing the organization, building and maintaining strong long-term corporate relationships with customers, and reporting program progress to Nakupuna leadership. Success in this position will be determined by the ability to deliver high quality contract requirements on a timely basis; achieve high contract performance assessment marks from our customer; and maintain and improve team member’s job satisfaction and retention. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. * Oversee the creation and implementation of a strategic plan for the program * Ensure delivery of all program commitments * Provide strategic guidance to project managers and other team leadership to meet the program’s objective * Implement a communication plan to facilitate clear and effective communication channels to team members, customers, and other stakeholders * Conduct daily program management tasks to keep the team and program on target * Monitor and report the progress of the program to Nakupuna and customer leadership * Ensure the coordination of interdependencies between project teams * Manage and utilize resources across projects * Oversee hiring and termination of personnel to meet program staffing needs * Interface directly and frequently with customer leadership, technical staff, and other stakeholders * Align deliverables to the program’s outcome, define scope and objectives, and ensure technical feasibility of the project goals * Maintain employee morale and culture * Ensure the building of qualifications and skills of the team members * Mentor and provide training to develop leadership and managerial skills in supervisors at all levels * Analyze and improve processes to ensure standards of excellence * Work with staff to interpret, organize and draft supporting documents and communications for customer meetings and presentations * Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments * Oversee the management of project tasks and resource requirements in a project schedule * Routinely update full-scale project plans, report on achievement of project goals, and forecast whether project will be delivered on-time * Implement a risk and issue management process for the program, including documenting, reporting and resolving internal and external risks and issues * Monitor, track, and report on changes to functional and technical requirements, business processes, and integrated technology and systems across the project. Communicate changes to project scope and schedule because of identified changes * Ensure all contract deliverables are delivered to the customer on time with Nakupuna standards of excellence * Lead the program to meet corporate goals and policies to include but not limited to turnover rates, profit margins, performance metrics, and other corporate benchmarks * Identify new business opportunities on the program and nurture relationships for existing and new work in the future * Create and maintain a business development mindset among employees as part of growing corporate business and mentoring future leaders within the company * Develop and drive long term planning for employee development, contract success, recompetes, and growth Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: The ideal addition to our Ohana will be responsive, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), and be able to work well as a member of a team as well as autonomously. Education/Experience: This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with seven (7) to ten (10) years of professional experience. The following experience is desired: * PMP Certification * Experience with Project Management principles associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Planning, Implementation, Testing, Documentation * Experience working in Agile or Hybrid-Agile Project Management Environments * Experience in projects involving direct client delivery of ERP software for a large organization * Experience managing large teams (>100) of people * Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) * Use of Atlassian Tool Suite, Jira and Confluence Clearance Requirements: A background investigation at the T3 level is required, as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.
