Position Overview

Fusion Innovation is seeking an Application Developer to join our team to support the enhancement, O&M, and compliance of existing applications hosted in an AWS environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires a knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure.

Required Skills

Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
Experience patching and maintaining system’s databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems
Knowledge of Federated Identity, authentication & authorization solutions.
Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM).
Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.
Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience
Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
Experience using a scripting language.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
BS/BA in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar and 8 years experience OR program equivalent combination of education and experience to reach 11 years
