ASRC Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) has a great opportunity for a Web Developer to become a part of the support team for NASA. Individual will assist in the development of online applications, the redesign of existing code and features and routine website maintenance. Most of the applications built have a restricted audience, and support the collaboration and workflow processes of space organizations. Individual should have a strong knowledge of object oriented programming and relational databases. They will work to incorporate new technologies and develop features based on customer requests and needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain collaboration tools, custom financial tools, custom spectrum management tools, and other unique applications developed for an aerospace audience.
Create new software with modern features, and modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance or provide additional features.
Integrate multiple technologies, both custom and COTS, into a seamless application.
Design and implement database tables, repositories and queries.
Develop documentation including requirements specifications, block diagrams and logic flow charts.
Work with team members to ensure task deadlines are met. Test, debug, and refine the software to produce the required product.
Desired Skills
Related experience or knowledge in any of the following programming languages: ColdFusion, Angular, Node.js, Express, React, SharePoint, Java, JavaScript, JQuery, C#, .Net or HTML.
Knowledge or experience with databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, is also beneficial.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with stakeholders and a team of developers.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Majority of projects will involve programming using a variety of technologies and all aspects of software development, including creating code, querying database tables, user interface design, testing, validation, and error checking.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
