Job Description
The position includes establishing threat and compliance matrices and protocols, maintaining data, monitoring system access, performing tests, risk analysis, and assessments, reviewing alerts, reporting, and compliance standards for the purpose of protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII), ensuring Cloud, network, hardware, and software security, integrity, and compliance, writing reports, and recommending security processes, tools, implementations, and countermeasures.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
Reviews, monitors, assesses, and reports compliance verifications to applicable standards
Develops, designs, and unit tests computer hardware, electro-mechanical components, peripheral devices, and functional computer and electrical systems for vulnerabilities
Designing and testing software components, analyzing test cases, eliminating errors, modifying install/hardening procedures, and general penetration testing
Creates, edits, manages, performs, and reports on local penetration and assessment test cases.
Reviews applicable standards (e.g., FIPS 201-3, NIST SP 800-63-3, FedRAMP, Kantara, etc.) to develop and assess the level of compliance for NextgenID product suites.
Provide Cloud deployment, administration, and security (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle, etc.).
Gather, collate, and recommend 3rd-party security services based on time, cost, quality scores.
Coordinate with product development teams to apply best practices to the HW/SW security architecture.
Develop, monitor, and maintain corporate IT/PACs security policies and procedures.
Lead and deliver regular corporate in-house employee training for security policies and best practices.
Chair and lead regular Security Working Group sessions with quarterly objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred
Position requires 4+ years of relevant experience supporting technical product development projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
Demonstrated cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and penetration testing foundations
Prior experience with hardware penetration testing is a plus
Prior familiarity with government/industry standards is a plus
