Overview
Pyramid is seeking a Mid Java Full Stack Developer to be part of our growing team, supporting a large-scale modernization initiative. We are looking for highly competent engineers with knowledge of Java, Angular, Spring, microservices, and modern software development practices who can work in a fast-paced DevSecOps environment. This person will be exposed to variety of emerging technologies and practices and will be expected to be learn quickly and collaborate within and across all agile teams.
Responsibilities
Support a cross-functional development team to deliver high-quality software. Support all disciplines within the software development lifecycle (e.g., requirements, development, testing, continuous integration and deployment, operations support)
Gauge time/development effort-level relationship, analyzing data, design and implementation of code efficientl
Implement microservices composed of a vast array of technologies in a Java/AWS ecosystem
Practice Test-Driven Development and automate all unit and integration tests
Promote knowledge sharing by way of code reviews, documentation, pair programming, etc
Contribute to story task definitions and actively participate in scrum rituals
Collaborate efficiently with lead developers, business analysts and other teams to ensure timely deliverables
Uphold best practices by following and enforcing such standards across various technologies
Qualifications
**US Citizenship Required**
4+ years of hands on experience as Full Stack Developer
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience developing decoupled SpringBoot, Microservices, and RESTful API’s
Understanding of cloud Microservice architectures or ability to quickly grasps system design concepts
Working knowledge of Java build tools, Spring, ORMs, CI/CD concepts, GIT, and Angular
Strong troubleshooting experience with capacity to identify root cause and resolve problems quickly
