Key Responsibilities: • Pioneer Research and Design: Explore and develop groundbreaking signal processing and communications algorithms, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
• Real-Time Software Development: Craft near-real-time software to implement these pioneering algorithms, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Testing and Refinement: Conduct rigorous testing and iterative refinement processes to optimize the performance of developed systems.
• Customer-Focused Innovation: Understand customer and operational requirements, adapting and modifying systems to exceed expectations.
• Effective Communication: Document and communicate highly technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner, addressing both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications: • Experience: 0-2 years, or a degree in a related field.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on signal processing or communications; Master’s degree preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of modern digital communications (OFDM, OTFS, MIMO), digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory.
• Signal Processing Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of signal processing techniques with random processes and experience with link budget analysis.
• Communication Protocols: Experience with modern communication protocols such as 5G/NR, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, 802.11, 802.16.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in implementing algorithms in C/C++ and Python, with experience in a Linux development environment.
• Coding Theory and Mathematics: Solid understanding of coding theory and working knowledge of linear algebra.
• Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET security clearance. Salary Range: $83,820.00 – $139,695.00 Desired Qualifications: • DevOps and Software Development: Understanding of modern DevOps software development practices.
• Multicore Processing: Experience in computational processing on multicore processors.
